When reading an article, I always keep my dictionary and KJV bible by my side to determine the real definition and Spiritual meaning of those words I don’t completely understand. However, in this article, I would like to go beyond the dictionary definition, because I believe words are alive and do bring a greater amount of information and depth, beyond their dictionary definition and do possess more power, than we recognize or at times realize.
Writers use words to create original characters, describe dramatic situations and various descriptions; which as humans we can play as imaginations in our minds. Scholars use words to teach how to discern or decipher, and most of all stir our minds and memories into activity. Historians use words to capture events and describe our history that it might live on for us to study and understand our past societies and events.
I believe all Words should be spoken or written carefully and with forethought before being presented. I believe and recognize spoken words are alive and definitely go beyond dictionary meanings. I admit they touch our very spirit and soul once spoken or written and do have a profound effect, on both our spirit and soul in multiple ways we can not comprehend or simply do not understand.
How do you identify a Living Word and how as a discerning individual can you recognize the information it relates? Living words are more than just dictionary definitions when broken down they will connect deeper meanings to those willing to discern and work with them instead of just accepting their dictionary meaning. For example, if I speak the word “WORK” the dictionary defines it as “labor, employment, occupation, Job, something produced using the particular material or tool. etc.” So when I take the word WORK and say open it up as a Living Word under my description, I see it revealing in addition to the dictionary definition “sustenance, savings, success, achievements, self-worth, self-esteem, professionalism and more.”
It shows what affect it has on us spiritually as individuals and what effect it is going to have on us on a physical plane. It reveals that everything which is occurring to me and others on a physical plane has occurred to us through our spirit first. Now with the understanding of the effects of Living Words, it becomes clear what the Scriptures are relating to “For the word of God is quick, powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews4:12 (KJV).
This statement tells me several things, “however” it identifies two things which verify my belief that our spirit and soul exist as separate entities yet appearing as one when the Lord defines the separation of our spirit and soul. Secondly, it shows that what words I speak or write are more than their dictionary definitions and we all must be very careful of what intent we “foster and hold,” when speaking or writing.
Now understanding what has been revealed, it becomes clear why we should never consider or use cursing as a form of communication in any circumstance. Mainly because we’re not sure what effect or consequences what we speak will have on who or what. I am citing these scriptural verses to further clarify the power behind Living Words, in Mark 11:14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat the fruit of thee hereafter forever. And his disciples heard it. Mark 11:20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. Then Peter in Mark 11:21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away,. It is here we gain the understanding of what and who the power is in our spoken and written words and why we need to be very careful, and definitely using our discernment and wisdom, before setting our words in motion either verbally or written. I refer to Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea: and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass: he shall have whatsoever he saith. So it is in these verses we learn who is the power of our words and what is required to make them real.
Understand these spoken words of Jesus apply to those Living Words spoken as a curse as well, and in many ways, we are unable to recognize what we have set in motion when we don’t use our wisdom and discernment, before speaking or writing.
Earlier in this article I stated and showed how Living Words have additional meanings and in doing so carry extra power to be fulfilled when spoken in anger or through disdain. These words would act as curses to be fulfilled unwittingly on the part of those who spoke them and again unintentionally hold contempt in their hearts, and desire and believe, thus unknowingly fulfilling the curse.
Something to remember as well, once a curse goes out it must complete its mission, and if unable, it returns to the one who sent it out and that person will sustain seven times greater discomfort. Also, recognize you do not need to cognitively speak the curse into being, the curse will be developed by you not actually understanding what you are creating when you talk Living Words through contempt or scorn which you have no doubt about and believe to be true.
The lack of discernment and understanding becomes a gateway for the enemy to use his evil against us, as there is no controlling the tongue pointed out in James 3:8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is unruly evil, full of deadly poison. James 3:9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
The Living Word is not just extended to the New Testament, as God’s Word is alive in the Old Testament as well and applies to God’s Law’s as they were written, especially those outlining curses. In Deuteronomy 28:15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: those curses are listed in Deuteronomy 28:16 to 67 which I believe the world as it stands apart from God and His commandments is currently suffering and growing deeper into those described curses through what is described in Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. I believe these can be identified as the followers of the pagan religion of GAIA the GODDESS OF THE EARTH MOVEMENT defined as GLOBAL WARMING and now know as THE CLIMATE CHANGE movement.
When we take the Living Words lightly, and do not recognize, how through our abuse of them either spoken or written, we don’t know what the consequences will be. Once we realize what is occurring we will find the answer of why and how to rectify it in Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
It becomes apparent what action we must take to rectify this position and know that not all will come to the truth or will be willing to accept the truth, as they will remain trapped in their own vanities and imaginations remaining in the darkness of their hearts. The answer here is knowing that caution needs to be taken when speaking or writing, but most of all know your exact position with God, not some justified or rationalized belief supported by vanities and imaginations. We are instructed in James 1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: James 1:20 for the wrath of man worketh not to the righteousness of God.
“Please,” remember these writings are not written as sermons, however, are sent as warnings to those willing to read and use them to assess their real position in following Yeshua’s footsteps. These articles are offered without any judgment or condemnation to any individual or church leader.
It is with a gentle heart I received this message, and with the same kind heart, I pray you will receive it and will be edified in your walk. I pray that the Holy Spirit will fill all with his discernment to recognize all Living Words and teach all how to use them within the Love of God The Father in the name of Yeshua, Amen, and Amen.
