PRE-AMBLE by Robert
In a conversation, a young man was moved to ask a question. Understanding my walk and the depth of my journey, wondered if “I feared death.” My immediate answer was “NO,” I do not. His comment at that moment, “I do not believe you, everybody fears death.”

At this point, he became somewhat flustered, as he was having trouble believing what I had just related to him, as he had never encountered an individual who held and walked in deep faith.

Please, it is not my intention to quote a huge number of Scriptures attempting to persuade, anybody, not to fear death.

However, I will share in this release, information on why we should not fear and in our hearts rejoice we have knowledge and guidance not to fear the end of our journey.

Being removed spiritually from our earthly temple, for some, is a doorway into a whole new world. For others, it represents a different doorway leading to an 122ff86d580bb8fa83714e974438a3858387422932175195067.jpgeternity without Yeshua and the eternal life of peace promised.

Here are moments those walking in the light of Yeshua as believers and followers might at times forget. Our fleshly vessel is our “Holy Temple,” which the Lord has placed the upkeep, care and responsibility, with us, to maintain as such. 1Corinthians 3:16: Know ye not t7hat ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit (o. pneuma) of God dwells in you?

The next verse should be a staunch reminder not to take our temple for granted as it is not just a housing we spiritually dwell in while journeying through this life 1Corinthians 3:17 explains why it is imperative we do not fail to maintain our temple as commanded. “If any man defiles the temple of God, he shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple, are all of you?

Here in this verse, we begin to recognize why those without the spirit of discernment would begin to fear the end of their journey and fight to maintain what they hold as precious. 1Corinthians 3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He takes the wise in their own craftiness.

3:20 And again, The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

CLOSING STATEMENT by Robert
The Apostle relates the main work of a Believer lies in the right management of his heart and mind.
From other parts of the Scripture, it appears false teachers among the Believers are teaching unholy doctrines. Such teaching tends to corrupt, to pollute, and destroy the building, which should be kept pure and holy for God. Those who spread loose principles, which render the Assembly of God unholy, bring destruction upon themselves.
Yeshua by his Spirit dwells in all true believers. Believers are holy by profession and should be pure and clean, both in heart and conversation. He is deceived who deems himself the temple of the Holy Ghost, yet is unconcerned about personal holiness, or the peace and purity of the Assembly.
The temple was devoted and consecrated to God, and set apart from every common to a holy use, to the immediate service of God. So all Believers are separated from common uses and set apart for God and his service. They are sacred to him – a very good argument against all fleshly lusts, and all doctrines that give countenance to them.
If we are the temples of God, we must do nothing that shall alienate ourselves from him, or corrupt and pollute ourselves, and thereby unfit ourselves for his use; and we must hearken to no doctrine nor doctor that would seduce us to any such practices.
Replace the formality of your worship with a reverent and steadfast sincerity. Keep your foot when you go to the House of God. Put obedience before sacrifice. Do not hurry on your mouth to the utterance of words that transcend the desires of your heart. Be not one of those who “Words for virtue take, As though mere wood a shrine would make” Do not come into the Temple with a preoccupied spirit, a spirit distracted with thoughts that travel different ways. Realize the presence of the Great King, and speak to Him with the reverence due to a King. Keep the vows you have made in His house after you have left it. Seek and serve Him with all your hearts, and ye shall find rest to your souls. A Maxim on Trust in God Ecclesiastes 5:8-17 And his last maxim is: Replace your grasping self-sufficiency with constant trust in the fatherly providence of God. If you see oppression or suffer wrong, if your schemes are thwarted and your enterprises fail, you need not, therefore, lose the quiet repose and settled peace which spring from a sense of duty discharged and the undisturbed possession of the main good of life. God is overall, and rules all the undertakings of man, giving each its season and place, and causing all to work together for the good of the loving and trustful heart. Trust in Him, and you shall feel, even though you cannot prove, “That every cloud that spreads above, And veileth love, itself is love” Trust in Him and you shall find that “The slow sweet hours that bring us all things good, The slow sad hours that bring us all things ill And all good things from evil,”
On this matter, we hear from Matthew Henry and through his comments find instructions: “All the truths which are revealed in scripture should be improved for our advancement in practical godliness: this is the effect that knowledge must produce, or we are never the better for it. If you know these things, happy are you if you do them. Seeing all these things must be dissolved, how holy should we be, that are assured of it, departing from and dying to sin, that has so corrupted and defiled all the visible creation that there is an absolute need of its dissolution! All that was made for man’s use is subject to vanity by man’s sin: and if the sin of man has brought the visible heavens, and the elements and earth, under a curse, from which they cannot be freed without being dissolved, what an abominable evil is sin, and how much to be hated by us! And, inasmuch as this dissolution is in order to their being restored to their primitive beauty and excellency, how pure and holy should we be, in order to our being fit for the new heaven and new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness! It is very exact and universal holiness that he exhorts to, not resting in any lower measure or degree, but labouring to be eminent beyond what is commonly attained – holy in God’s house and in our own, holy in our worshipping of God and in our conversing with men. All our conversation, whether with high or low, rich or poor, good or bad, friends or enemies, must be holy. We must keep ourselves unspotted from the world in all our converses with it. We must be perfecting holiness in the fear of God, and in the love of God too. We must exercise ourselves unto godliness of all sorts, in all its parts, trusting in God and delighting in God only, who continues the same when the whole visible creation shall be dissolved, devoting ourselves to the service of God, and designing the glorifying and enjoyment of God, who endures forever; whereas what worldly men delight in and follow after must all be dissolved. Those things which we now see must in a little while pass away, and be no more as they now are: let us look therefore at what shall abide and continue, which, though it is not present, is certain and not far off.”
