And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men. Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. Colossians 3:23-24.
PRE-AMBLE by Robert
I am opening with an excerpt from “THE SOUL AND LIFE OF EVERY SIN ARE SOME LUST OF OUR OWN.” Published Jan 23, 2020. The following comes to us from Genesis 6:5, And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. The next part of the warning should be mainly heard discerned and acted upon. Bringing us all to realize no matter where we consider ourselves to be in the Lord and our relationship with Yeshua, as well as taking a seriously deep appraisal of our position in this world. I’m not suggesting we are wicked but am sounding the Trumpet as a warning, to honestly know your position in God’s teachings and relationship with His Son, “Yeshua.”
This release brings forward that we will be continuously faced with the decision we made and will continue to build between sinning or walking
righteously. This article will reveal the importance of having chosen a walk in righteousness. It explains how our step is about the importance of being prepared for our Lord’s return. It will reveal there was a change in your life and explains how that change brings peace. It will reveal on a personal level while we wait for the return of Yeshua, why it is important to daily be preparing for that return, as we do not know that date. However, we know there is a date when we will meet our Saviour, and pass into the promised eternal life.
OPENING STATEMENT by Robert
A blessed change takes place in a sinner’s state when you become a true believer, whatever you have been. Being justified by faith, you have peace with God. Our holy, righteous God, cannot be at peace with a sinner, while under the guilt of sin. Justification takes away the guilt, and so makes way for peace. This is through our Lord Yeshua, through him as the great Peace-maker, the Mediator between God and man.
The saints’ happy state is a state of grace. Into this grace, we are brought, which teaches we were not born in this state. We could not have got into it of ourselves, but we are led into it, as pardoned offenders. Therein we stand a posture that denotes perseverance. We stand firm and safe, upheld by the power of God. And those who have hope for the glory of God hereafter, have enough to rejoice in now.
Let believers be of one mind and ready to help each other. As the apostle had found the benefit of their assistance, he knew how comfortable it would be to his fellow-labourers to have the help of others. Let us seek to give assurance that our names are written in the book of life.
Joy in God is of great consequence in the Believer’s life, and Believers need to be again and again called to it. It more than outweighs all causes for sorrow. Let their enemies perceive how moderate they were as to outward things, and how composedly they suffered loss and hardships. The day of judgment will soon arrive, with full redemption to believers, and destruction to ungodly men
Common sense tells us to be cautious, while experience and observation show that the success of fraud in matters of religion has been very short. Reproach for Yeshua is true preferment, as it makes us conformable to his pattern, and serviceable to his interest.
They did not preach themselves, but Yeshua. This was the preaching that most offended the priests. But it ought to be the constant business of gospel ministers to preach Yeshua: Yeshua and him crucified; Yeshua and him glorified; nothing besides this, but what has reference to it. And whatever is our station or rank in life, we should seek to make Him known and to glorify his name.
CLOSING STATEMENT by Robert
As I researched this article, it convicted me via a threatening email received today, Feb 5, 2020, that my computer had been hacked, and I was being tracked by this individual. His claim was the hack occurred through an explicit sight I had visited. He stated there exists a split-screen video of my activities on that site. He demanded a ransom payment of bitcoins or he would release this video to all my email contacts.
So here is the situation. I am currently facing, as pointed out in this article, Having to choose between further sin by creating a lie to deflect this mistake on my part or facing the truth admitting to the act of fleshly weakness, a personal sin, repent and ask for forgiveness, understanding, prayer and ongoing support.
As you can see, I choose to admit, I made a personal mistake in judgement, and as a result, I am confessing, this sinful nature caught me at a time of fleshly weakness. My actions were an answer to personal urges but did not involve any other individual. It consisted of visiting explicit sites. Actions at the time I questioned, and in weakness gave in to the temptations and fleshly urges. No one I repeat no one is above being tempted and succumbing. I look at Peter who denied Yeshua three times. My thoughts of being a failure are running deep, guilt is overwhelming, yet I know Yeshua is there with Love forgiveness and acceptance reminding the enemy that is what matters not what the world thinks.
We have peace with God, Romans 5:1. It is sin that breeds the quarrel between us and God, creates not only a strangeness but an enmity the holy righteous God cannot in honour be at peace with a sinner while he continues under the guilt of sin. Justification takes away the guilt, and so makes way for peace. And such is the gentle and good-will of God to a man that, immediately upon the removing of that obstacle, the peace is made. By faith, we lay hold of God’s arm and of his strength, and so are at peace, Isaiah 27:4,5. There is more in this peace than barely a cessation of enmity, there is friendship and loving-kindness, for God is either the worst enemy or the best friend. Abraham, being justified by faith, was called the friend of God (James 2:23), which was his honour, but not his peculiar honour: Christ has called his disciples friends, John 15:13-15.
