This verse has so much meaning and yet is ignored by most due to it’s truth.“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12
OPENING STATEMENT by Robert
The commentator John Gill (1697 – 1771) We will encounter those who are careless, negligent, and inattentive, who hear without understanding, judgment, and affection.
He explains from the Vulgate Latin and Munster’s Hebrew Gospel to mean the enemy (Devils) are around us in the air at all times. They are said to be “the power of the air.”
Because of their ravenous and devouring nature, their swiftness to make mischief, and they’re flocking in multitudes, especially when the gospel is being preached to hinder its usefulness, as fowls do, where the seed is sown.
Satan and his principalities and powers rove in the air. Come down on earth, and seek whom they may devour, and often mix themselves in religious assemblies. To do what mischief they can; see (Job 1:6) Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them.
Do not be naive to the truth. Our enemy is not shy. He knows Scripture possibly better than we do and possesses a passion for destroying us, our walk and the work we do for “The Word, the Son of God.”
Folks welcome to the “WAR ON THE SAINTS” we’ve been in it all along possibly didn’t realize to what depth. So what are you going to learn as a “Fisher of Men,” how to rescue those lost. Or as a “Beacon of Light” step back and become a flicker in the distance, the choice is yours? Know this. You won’t have to chase, by being a living example, just be patient. Your light will do the work for you soon enough, harness your zeal, as all your energy, wisdom and discernment is going to be required.
CLOSING STATEMENT by Robert
Recognize, our spiritual battles, are for souls, as well to know the enemy you are battling, their strengths and weaknesses. This knowledge becomes a tool in assisting, maintaining and deepening your walk, as we continue to work out our Salvation, as well as attending the front line of service, by casting our nets (reflecting God’s light) into this darkening world.
You will find explanations of how simple it is not to recognize you are walking in the world, believing you’re on the narrow path. As I continue researching the article “ANXIOUS CARES,” what is scheduled to be revealed, is warning those who hear the Trumpet to know your position.
Only those having the spirit of God with them will listen to and discern and understand this warning. This article is a “Trumpeter’s Call, a warning. “Your patience will be put into reflection, measuring the how, why and depth of it.”
“You will be shown “God,” is not looking for perfection, he knows our commitment and what’s in our hearts and our spiritual intent. He wants us to be honest within it, not puffed up, for future events we are about to encounter.”
“We will have those areas of commitment, which we are spiritually weak in, “revealed.” And, whether we have the strength, courage and ability to accept and work at changing those exposed areas, in confirming and sustaining the direction of our commitment.” In other words, if you’re one step in the world are you willing to release the comfort it affords you and step back out of the world.
“Our willingness, to be held accountable and accept responsibility, is as well, being
measured and revealed, “no punches are being pulled, there is no political correctness here,” those moments are wasted time and effort. Face it, our commitment is being thoroughly reviewed and prepared for our oncoming battles.
Be strong therefore, strong for service, strong for suffering, strong for fighting. Let a soldier be ever so well armed without, if he has not a good heart, his armour will stand him in little stead. Half-truths and half commitments do not prepare a warrior for future battles in winning souls.
Note, spiritual strength and courage are very necessary for our spiritual warfare.
Be strong in the Lord, either in his cause and for his sake or rather in his strength. We have no sufficient strength of our own. Our natural courage is as perfect cowardice, and our natural strength as a perfect weakness but all our sufficiency is of God.
In his strength we must go forth and go on. By the action of faith, we must fetch in grace and help from heaven to enable us to do that which of ourselves we cannot do, in our Christian work and warfare. We should stir up ourselves to resist temptations in a reliance upon God’s all-sufficiency and the omnipotence of his might.
By the actings of faith, we must fetch in grace and help from heaven to enable us to do that which of ourselves we cannot do, in our Christian work and warfare. We should stir up ourselves to resist temptations in a reliance upon God’s all-sufficiency and the omnipotence of his might.
CLOSING PRAYER by Robert
You have heard our pleas for mercy and divine justice heavenly Father. You have brought us to drink of the Living Water, filled us with wisdom in preparation to stand under your banner as warriors, against sin. In development for the battles to come. You have blessed us with discernment and understanding of how to use your gifted wisdom during our moulding and reshaping, in dealing with the chastisements and temptations placed before us. We thank thee O Lord, for your patience, love and compassion during this process. Through your placing of knowledge, awaken the savour of our words so they may season as you have desired. We pray this in the name of Yeshua, Amen and Amen.
Once we step out of the world and begin to fully re-walk in the light. We are shown in Matthew 6:31-32 KJV how to rely on our faith going forward resisting Satan’s temptations and rough seas: Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? Or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye need all these things. As Yeshua said to Peter as he was sinking and calling out to Yeshua, “Oh, ye of little faith.”
Please remember, these articles are the work of a humble servant of Yeshua doing His bidding as a Watchmen sounding the Trumpet to warn of impending danger within the Assembly. May our Father abundantly bless each one of you with wisdom and discernment to go forward as “Modern Day Disciples.”
Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee, Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord Yeshua is everlasting strength. (Isaiah 26:3-4)
