And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
PRE-AMBLE by Robert
It is implied that troubles and afflictions may be the lot of the best Christians, even of those who have the most reason to think and hope well of themselves. Such as have a title to the greatest joy may yet endure very grievous afflictions. As good people are liable to be scattered, they must not think it strange if they meet with troubles.
These outward afflictions and troubles are temptations to them. The devil endeavours by sufferings and crosses to draw men to sin and to deter them from duty, or unfit them for it; but, as our afflictions are in God’s hand, they are intended for the trial and improvement of our graces. The gold is put into the furnace, that it may be purified.
These temptations may be numerous and various: Divers temptations, as the apostle speaks. Our trials may be of many and different kinds, and therefore we have a need to put on the whole armour of God. We must be armed on every side because temptations lie on all sides.
The trials of a good man are such as he does not create to himself, nor sinfully pull upon himself, but they are such as he is said to fall into. And for this reason, they are the better borne by him.
OPENING STATEMENT by Robert.
Each day we are lead to the well of living water, and each day it is offered up to us. We have a choice to take a drink, knowing if we do, our lives will be changed, and a different journey begins. I realize many have a hard heart, thus fearing any change give in to the many temptations before them and demonstrate a Stiff-neck and stubborn streak. “To justify their actions, they say “this belief is out of date, it doesn’t represent our modern society. Anyone following this belief will be shunned and thought of as being radical!“
When I hear these justifications, my heart grieves for these deluded souls. Knowing they lack an understanding of what they are walking away from.
Some answer, “not knowing what you missed, is not all that bad look at what you have now.”
I understand anything stated at this time, will fall on deaf ears, and a rock hard heart. A heart void of compassion and concern even of its own spiritual well being.
Let the love of the brethren continue within this darkening shroud falling over the world and its peoples.
Forget not to show love unto strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Be not carried away by diverse and strange teachings: for it is good, your hearts are established by grace.
OPENING PRAYER by Robert
“Heavenly Father as we go forward in obedience to your call to enter into the Den of Wolves, We ask Lord for deepening of our discernment, courage, removal of fear through the strengthening of our understanding and faith. As you have promised words to be spoken when we are in distress, sharpen our two-edged sword and make it keener Father. Heighten our strength to the level of Samsons, deepen our courage to match David’s as he stood before Goliath. Make our walk sure faithful and dedicated as Isaiah’s. Enhance it, Lord, that it may like the horns of Jericho break through the hardened heart that you may place a fleshly one in its place. This we pray in the name of Yeshua (Jesus Christ) Amen and Amen.
CLOSING STATEMENT by Robert
Our earlier lessons taught by our Father in heaven through the Holy Spirit was preparing our hearts. To deal with those who exist in the darkening world as our neighbours.
After preparation, our Father in heaven commanded us to go into the Den of Wolves searching for that one soul seeking to eternally quench their spiritual thirst with the living water.
As our present-day world becomes darker and more sinister, the Den of Wolves becomes even more expressive and threatening. Be ye free from the love of money; content with such things as you have: as Yeshua said, “I will in no way fail you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”
So with good courage, we say. “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear, whatever man shall do unto me?”
The following is quoted from the October 13, 2019, article “SPIRITUAL SUAVE?” I recognize this as a description of those individuals with a stony heart. “
Think of a person who has no ties with any of his fellow-beings. Who has broken such links as bound him to them or is of that morbid and unnatural humour that makes all interaction with others distasteful? We are to think more, especially of one who chooses this life of solitariness to follow out his own desire. Rather than from any necessity of circumstance or disposition. One who finds his pleasure in ignoring mankind, and wishes for interaction with them only that he may vent his spleen against them. In a word, we are to think of as a skeptic.
The skeptic is one who has no faith in his fellows and shrinks into himself to escape them who pursues his own private ends. Avoiding all unnecessary speech with those who are around him, living alone, dying unobserved, except for the mischief which, consciously or unconsciously, he does to those who survive him. Such a one is aptly described as showing his teeth in an angry snarl against all the approaches.
We are here assured, for our quickening to every right word and work, 1. That even kind words will turn to a good account (Proverbs 12:14). A man shall be satisfied with good (that is, he shall gain modern comfort, that inward pleasure which is genuinely satisfying) by the fruit of his mouth, by the product he does with his pious discourse and prudent advice. While we are teaching others, we may ourselves learn, and feed on the bread of life we break to others 2. That good works, much more, will be abundantly rewarded: The recompense of a man’s hands for all his work and labour of love, all he has done for the glory of God and the good of his generation, shall be rendered unto him, and he shall reap as he has sown. Or it may be understood of the general rule of justice; God will render to every man according to his work, Romans 2:6.
The following was one of my many contributions. A young lady who is a professional in her career choice was in conversation with me and during the conversation, the topic of how it is I look so youthful, have my faculties and am active in my 74th year. Several different answers went through my mind, but the one I answered with was my Lord is blessing me with health and the ability to discern and understand the gifts being bestowed on me for having faith and doing His bidding in his name. I went further to explain that in accepting Yeshua as my saviour I become a part of who he is and reap the gifts His Father has bestowed upon Him. What I pointed out to her is one of the offerings within the heavenly mysteries is a long healthy life.
I revealed another gift while sharing in Yeshua’s name: neither preach or lecture, deliver your information and allow the recipient to use common sense, to recognize what has been gifted to them. And further share, if we use the Ten Commandments, as an essential guide, many would find these gifts as well.
She replied you are just laying a temp plate for them to follow while searching to see the truth. At this point, I ended our conversation as our journey had come to an end. What the Holy Spirit revealed later as I meditated and rested was the following to discern and share.
Ephesians 1:8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence. v9. Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself. v10. That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Yeshua, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth even in him.
I am closing with this pearl, shared with a sister, in conversation, and desire to share it with all. By using a Star, “God lead the Three Wisemen, to His Son, as a toddler (Matthew 2:11: And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.) .
Recognize the gift Yeshua has bestowed on us through the Holy Spirit. Those of us having his light, become His stars guiding many to His Son Yeshua. Let your light shine bright as one of His stars, ” God, will guide many with it.”
CLOSING PRAYER by Robert
As we journey forward, Heavenly Father, we look for your guidance and comforting. We thank you, Lord, for each moment you dedicate to our lives, families, and homes. As we hear from the Holy Spirit, we know your voice is being listened to through him and all those infirmities which may plague us will be healed and a hedge of protection built around our lives. We thank you, Father, for all your mercies and abundant dealings you perform on our behalf. Thank you, Lord, for being our Shepherd and bringing us to bountiful pastures and protecting us from ravening wolves. This we pray in your name Yeshua. Amen and Amen.
Remember, these messages are given by a humble servant obedient unto our Lord Yeshua as a “Watchman.” This, I pray for all. ”Our Heavenly Father brings us to the river which bringeth forth fruit so we may partake of its sustenance and be filled spiritually with nurturing wisdom, and humble dedication in service to Yeshua.“ “Blessings to All.” As you go forward in peace, knowledge, and strength. In the name of Yeshua, we pray Amen and Amen.
