Luke 13:25 KJV
When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
Luke 13:26-27 KJV
Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
My heart is heavy, my heart is filled with deep sorrow. I had a dream, in that dream, I was on top of a hill, overlooking a throng of people all mixed together, thrashing and grabbing at one another.
There were so many it was impossible to count them. As I spoke in a soft voice, I could hear my words echoing throughout pure and audible by all. For a short period of time, there was a pause in the madness before me.
What I was relaying to the throng was a simple plea, “Hear the Lord’s warning.” Repeated twice. The reply an instant return to the madness.
James 3:16 KJV
For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
The evil work described in James 3:16 is being exposed as the current condition of those walking in the world.
Political Correctness and Delusional Paranoia have brought forward the true condition of those currently walking as the worldly described in 2Timothy 3: For men shall be lovers of themselves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful. Unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof (the God is Love without being Chaste movement); from such turn away.
There is scarcely any sin against which our Lord Yeshua more warns his disciples, than disquieting, distracting, distrustful cares about the things of this life. The current condition of paranoic fear over a pandemic is front and center.
This condition often insnares the poor as much as the love of wealth does the rich.
We are brought to this truth, “take no thought for your life.” Not about the length of it, but refer it to God to lengthen or shorten it as he pleases; our times are in his hands, and they are in good hands.
We also speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth, not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1Corinthians 3:13, 14.
PRE-AMBLE by Robert
Over the years, I’ve read several success articles that are encouraging, inspiring and informative embellishments from those who have achieved their worldly dream and, as a result, are rewarded monetarily and fulfills what they believe within an emotional level.
Giving advice when you’re successful in life’s endeavours is one of the skills I associate with discernment (remember discernment comes when we are filled with the Holy Spirit) and encourage it to become a common practice within our life’s journey of giving back or sharing your motivations and inspirations, in the hope many or some will hear your message.
And they will gain the courage to move forward in our life’s journey, within our careers, outside of the group referenced too in an earlier article https://romboughrobert.com/2020/05/04/being-unique-4/.
I see it as a skill each individual can use to identify and overcome their fears of the unknown or untried. I see it as a way of encouragement to those hesitating to step out of the group.
I identify it as a source of replenishment; it takes the sting out of the risk of your decision to function as a Unique individual outside of the group. It aids in overcoming your fear of leaving a perceived secure position for the truly unknown and perceived position of standing alone in the unfamiliar beginning of your adjusted life’s journey.
It will not suffice to say, Lord, Lord in word and tongue to own Yeshua (Christ) for our Master, and to make addresses to him, and professions of him accordingly, in prayer to God, in discourse with men.
We must call Yeshua (Jesus Christ), Lord, Lord, for he is (John 13:13), but can we imagine that this is enough to bring us to heaven.
That such a piece of formality as this should be so recompensed, or that he who knows and requires the heart should be so put off with shows for substance?
Compliments among men are pieces of civility that are returned with compliments, but they are never paid as real services and can they then be of an account with Yeshua (Jesus Christ)?
There may be seeming importunity in prayer, Lord, Lord: but if inward impressions are not answerable to outward expressions, we are but as sounding brass and a tinkling cymbal.
This is not to take us off from saying, Lord, Lord from praying and being earnest in prayer, from professing Yeshua’s (Christ’s) name and being bold in professing it, but from resting in these, in the form of godliness, without the power.
It was gently suggested, some of my messages and replies to messages are an effort on my part to question an individual’s Christianity. In response to this suggestion, I have related that my walk is not of a Pastor, minister, or teacher, my walk is one of a Watchman.
After an extended period (14 mos.) of meditation and prayer, I took on the mantel of a Watchman, which, as I studied the words in Ezekiel 33:2, 33:6-7;17. Learned the responsibility of this walk and the importance it stands for.
The site I started in 2011 on WordPress Trumpeter’s Call, enables me to reach out worldwide. The aim is to bring forward first the Lord’s warnings of what is occurring or not occurring within the flock. As well as more information on what can be done to rectify.
Providing this information is always left to the individual to choose their action and response to the article. Go to romboughrobert.com
A watchman’s business is to warn sinners of their misery and danger. He must warn the lost and strayed from turning from their way, that they may live. If souls perish through neglect of duty, he brings guilt upon himself.
See what those must answer for, who make excuses for sin, flatter sinners, and encourage them to believe they shall have peace, though they go on. How much wiser are men in their temporal than in their spiritual concerns!
They set Watchmen to guard and to warn of an enemies’ approach, and where the everlasting happiness or misery of the soul is at stake. Some are offended if a Watchman obeys the master’s command and gives a faithful warning; they would rather perish, listening to things which tickle the ears and strokes the ego.
Those who despaired finding mercy with God are answered with a solemn declaration of God’s readiness to show mercy.
