Matthew 7:22 KJV
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works?
OPENING STATEMENT by Robert
The following are a compilation of excerpts from published articles through “Trumpeters Call,” which put forward spiritual wisdom.
A point of interest, God, our Father, will never interfere with our [free will] choices. He will show us our error, but will never force a change in our decisions made with our free will. He does protect us from the enemy who attacks us, however, to prevent us from altering a course created in error. We must make the moves involved in changing our path and a thought process that has opened the door for an attack.
“OK,” here it is I have been shown to bring this forward, so those unwilling to hear the Lord’s words have both spiritual and carnal information to understand why they walk as they do.
The Lord knows many will ignore this information. However, Yeshua wants the following information out there, so the remnant within this group of naysayers will possibly see, hear or be informed and be able to make an informed choice.
The following information will identify there are two distinct paths to choose from. Each path has been determined by one, our Lord, Yeshua (John 14:6 KJV) and the other Satan (Matthew 4:8-9 KJV), who will lead those that have chosen either path to their eternal fate.
This knowledge gained is revealing how Satan uses distractions to capture the unaware and distracted. As I received more and more information from the Holy Spirit, it became apparent how many were falling short of keeping even the simplest of God’s Laws.
The majority are conveniently sidetracked, in other words, “DISTRACTED,” caught up in works or doing projects in the name of humanity or researching what appears to be a truth of the world, i.e., How were the Pyramids built, into chasing worldly myths that Aliens influenced our earlier populations.
Frequently, the more men have, the more they would have; and on this, they are so intent, that they get no enjoyment from what they have. Selfishness is the cause of this evil. A selfish man cares for nobody; there is none to take care of but himself, yet he will scarcely allow necessary rest to himself and the people he employs. He never thinks he has enough. He has enough for his calling for his family, but he has not enough for his eyes. Many are so set upon the world, that in pursuit of it they bereave themselves, not only of the favour of God and eternal life but of the pleasures of this life.
“Every day you hear advice encouraging individuals on how to succeed or be the best or aspire to reach notoriety which abounds in all fields of worldly endeavour.” Have you questioned what these achievements, beyond sustaining yourself and family daily, and obtaining the admiration of those aspiring for the same goals will add to your eternal life?
“Is it wrong to aspire for success?” “NO.” However, we should never place ourselves in a position of desiring wealth, notoriety, and fame. What does being a part of the group desiring to achieve the same goal of success and wealth, provide to your spiritual journey as an individual through that lifestyle, encouraging you to learn how to succeed or to be the best or aspire to reach notoriety which abounds in all fields of worldly endeavour?
Spiros Zodhiates Th.D (1922 – 2009) brings forward an interesting point which I believe applies to this offering. “There is a category of people who would be confused with the true believers. These are those who appear to have been saved and be a child of God but have reverted to the world and continue in its ways. For instance, the phrase…” which when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe…” denotes a different meaning for the word “believe.” It should not be confused as the exercise of true faith in Yeshua (Jesus Christ) which transforms a person’s life. This “belief” is merely intellectual assent. Not simply giving reference to a repentant heart, but to an obedient heart toward God which causes them to do righteousness and to hate sin (Rom. 5:19). Those who have no deep roots are the ones who profess faith but do not possess Yeshua.
He that by faith chooses God for his guardian, shall find all that in him which he needs or can desire.
Note, 1. It is the character of a true believer that he dwells in the secret place of the, Most High, he is at home in God, returns to God, and reposes in him as his rest he acquaints himself with inward religion, and makes heart-work of the service of God, worships within the veil, and loves to be alone with God, to converse with him in solitude.
2. It is the privilege and comfort of those that do so that they abide under the shadow of the Almighty he shelters them and comes between them and everything that would annoy them, whether storm or sunshine. They shall not only have an admittance but a residence, under God’s protection he will be their rest and refuge forever.
The psalmist’s comfortable application of this to himself (Psalms 91:2): I will say of the Lord, whatever others say of him, “He is my refuge I choose him as such and confide in him. Others make idols their refuge, but I will say of Yeshua, the true and living God, He is my refuge: any other is a refuge of lies. He is a refuge that will not fail me for he is my fortress and strong-hold.”
We will find as we go forward it is common with people not to apply to Yeshua till they have tried in vain all other helpers, and see them, as undoubtedly they will, physicians of no value. Some run to diversions; others plunge into business, or even into intemperance; others go about to establish their own righteousness or torment themselves by vain superstitions. Many perish in these ways; but none will ever find rest to the soul by such devices; while those whom Yeshua heals of the disease of sin, find in themselves an entire change for the better. As secret acts of sin, so secret acts of faith, are known to Yeshua.
Psalms 55:22 “Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.”
Remember, these messages come from an obedient, “Watchmen,” sounding the horn about an evil that is about to occur. Let us reveal to the enemy his shortcomings as shown in Colossians 3:8-9 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. v9. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds.
May our Father bless and keep you well as our journey continues.
