“BEARING FRUIT!”

“BEARING FRUIT!”

1Corinthians 3:91 Corinthians 3:9

For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

The following link revealed we are living and journeying through this world under the most powerful covering “Grace”. And in doing so we know we are spiritually joined to Yeshua and through the Son re-connected to His Father in heaven.

Now being connected we like the apostle Paul should pray and let all know what it was we prayed so they might know what to pray. Paul often let his friends know what it was he begged of God for them, that they might know what to beg for themselves and be directed in their own prayers, and that they might be encouraged to hope they should receive from God the quickening, strengthening, everlasting, comforting grace, which so powerful an intercessor as Paul asked of God for them.

OPENING COMMENTS by Robert

When we go through the scriptures, we find John the Baptist was spiritually endowed to bring the peoples of Judea to the knowledge of the Lord through Baptism right from the womb.

John was the son of a priest, now entering upon the thirtieth year of his age and therefore, according to the custom of the temple, he was now to be admitted into the temple-service, where he should have attended as a candidate five years before.

But God had called him to a more honourable ministry, and therefore the Holy Ghost enrolls him here, since he was not enrolled in the archives of the temple: honourable ministry, and therefore the Holy Ghost enrolls him here, since he was not enrolled in the archives of the temple:

John the son of Zacharias began his ministration such a time. The scope and design of it were to bring all the people of his country off from their sins and home to their God, Luke 3:3. The scope and design of it were to bring all the people of his country off from their sins and home to their God, Luke 3:3.

The comparison I wish to make here is on two levels, one the condition of the world in comparison of the Jewish nation at the time when John’s ministry began. The level of evil operating in their society at the time, as our current level of evil today is comparable.

Why is this comparison so important, and what is the connection? We are told that John was endowed to serve right from the womb. When I researched this, it became clear those who repent and receive Salvation and are born again in the spirit like John the Baptist are endowed to serve right from their spiritual birth, it becomes our destiny as it was Johns.

To what level we take that service is a choice we make through our free will, no more than it was John’s to serve in the wilderness. Our choice then dictates the level of service we will present as believers.

Knowledge and understanding become assets when operating in the Den of Wolves and with those in the world. When the prophets of the Old Testament prevailed not, nor John the Baptist, nor Christ himself, who told them the kingdom of God was at hand, the apostles and ministers of the gospel were sent, after Christ’s resurrection, to tell them it was come, and to persuade them to accept the offer. in the Den of Wolves and with those in the world.

The reason sinners do not come to Christ and salvation by him, is, not because they cannot, but because they will not. Making light of Christ, and of the great salvation wrought out by him, is the damning sin of the world.  do not come to Christ and salvation by him, is, not because they cannot, but because they will not. Making light of Christ, and of the great salvation wrought out by him, is the damning sin of the world.

They were careless. Multitudes perish forever through mere carelessness, who show no direct aversion, but are careless as to their souls.

Also, the business and profit of worldly employments hinder many in closing with the Saviour. Both farmers and merchants must be diligent; but whatever we have of the world in our hands, our care must be to keep it out of our hearts, lest it come between us and Christ our Saviour.

Those accepting their destiny should make a deep effort to relate even unto closed minds and ears.

Or this report may more at once relate to what is usually called the moral perfection of the divine nature, what we are to imitate, or what is more directly to influence us in our gospel work.

And so, we will understand the holiness of God, the absolute purity of his nature and will, his penetrative knowledge (particularly of hearts), his jealousy and injustice, which burn a most bright and vehement flame.

It is meet that to this dark world the great God should be represented as pure and perfect light. It is the Lord Jesus that best of all opens to us the name and nature of the unsearchable God.

The only begotten, who is in the bosom of the Father, the same hath declared him. It is the prerogative of the Christian revelation to bring us the most noble, the most august and agreeable account of the blessed God, such as is most suitable to the light of reason and what is demonstrable thereby, most suitable to the magnificence of his works round about us, and to the nature and office of him that is the supreme administrator, governor, and judge of the world.

What more (relating to and comprehensive of all such perfection could be included in one word than in this, God is light, and in him is no darkness at all fulness of that excellency and perfection.

There is no defect or imperfection, no mixture of anything alien or contrary to absolute excellency, no mutability nor capacity of any decay in him.

In him is no darkness at all, 1 John 1:5. Or this report may more immediately relate to what is usually called the moral perfection of the divine nature, what we are to imitate, or what is more directly to influence us in our gospel work.
