PRE-AMBLE by Robert
This is the oppression warned of previously. It starts out as a simple issue disguised as being done in the best interest of the public’s safety. This current action is mandated and provoked because of media predicated fear that social gatherings will infect others thus spreading Covid- 19.
I contend these actions are based on a misinformed public submitting to the fear garnered by the MSM and governing agencies. The suggestion that holding this pastor in custody because he refuses to submit to the stifling conditions attempting to silence him, is an example of future stifling Christian teaching.
My contention comes through questions to those who are making the decision to persecute pastor Coates for doing what he’s ordained to do scripturally, bring forward the word teach and demonstrate the power of God to protect his flock.
How many of those attending these services have become ill? How can those, not contaminated possibly spread the virus? What is being witnessed here is the suppression of God’s work and power.
Alberta pastor remains in custody after holding another service violating COVID-19 public health orders
What the general public is missing is the work and power of God being displayed here through Pastor Coates conducting the services. The one point being overlooked is there have not been any parishioners infected and thus are not capable of spreading the virus as suggested by the MSM and health officials.
It may at this time be for the public to consider this point and recognize this as a call for those wanting out of the fear and confusion being fostered by the government and its intellectuals to consider what is being demonstrated. Maybe take a look at the fact the vaccine is not bringing the relief promised by the scientists as well as the content and side effects.
Consider why a Pastor would suffer incarceration for his belief that God is using him and his church as an example for not only this area but globally of how God is protecting and providing for those who believe and walk with Him.
But what the experts, scientists and officials are focused on is controlling the masses through paranoic fear and a false promise of returning to normal life through vaccinations, suppressing the public to the point of incarcerating those who disagree with their policies.
For those skeptical, this is what is occurring. I want to relate how the prophet Elijah demonstrated God’s greatness. 1 Kings 18:29-39
And it came to pass when midday was past, and they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded.
And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down.
And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the LORD came, saying, Israel shall be thy name:
And with the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD: and he made a trench about the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed.
And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood.
And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time.
And the water ran round about the altar, and he filled the trench also with water.
And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.
Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that these people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.
Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.
And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God.

GraceLife Church in Parkland County defied Alberta government public gathering restrictions on the weekend and held a church service.
The pastor of a Parkland County church previously charged with violating Public Health Act orders remains in custody after turning himself in to police Tuesday, RCMP say.
On Sunday, RCMP and Alberta Health Services attended the GraceLife Church to “assess compliance in relation to conditions issued to the pastor on Feb. 7,” police said in a news release.
Doing this can prevent death from a heart attack
Pastor James Coates had previously been charged under the Public Health Act for being over capacity and failing to adhere to physical distancing requirements during church service. He was served an undertaking with conditions.
But on Sunday, police and AHS found Coates was not complying with his undertaking release conditions and the church was not in compliance with the public health order.
On Tuesday, Coates turned himself into police and he was charged with two counts in contravention of the Public Health Act and charged for failing to comply with a condition of his undertaking.
After a bail hearing before a justice of the peace, RCMP said Coates was to be released on conditions but he remained in custody overnight after refusing to agree to the conditions.
On Wednesday morning in Stony Plain provincial court, he continued to refuse to agree to the conditions, police said, and a judge’s order was issued compelling him to attend court on Feb. 24.
“We’ve been consistent in our approach of escalated levels of enforcement with Pastor Coates, and we were hopeful to resolve this issue in a different manner,” said Insp. Mike Lokken in the news release. “The pastor’s actions, and the subsequent effects those actions could have on the health and safety of citizens, dictated our response in this situation.”
RCMP said Coates remains in custody.
Meanwhile, the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, which is representing Coates and GraceLife Church, wrote a letter to Premier Jason Kenney to rescind the health orders which they say “unfairly discriminate as between restaurants and houses of worship.”
The Justice Centre is appealing Coates’ custody to the Court of Queen’s Bench. The centre said Coates will not be released unless he agrees to the condition, or the Crown prosecutor agrees to withdraw the condition.
