The apostles were not guided by worldly principles. They had the revelation of those things from the Spirit of God and the saving impression of them from the same Spirit. These things they declared in plain, simple language, taught by the Holy Spirit, entirely different from the affected oratory or enticing words of man’s wisdom. The natural man, the wise man of the world, receives not the things of the Spirit of God.
The pride of carnal reasoning is really as much opposed to spirituality as the basest sensuality. The pure mind discerns the real beauties of holiness, but the power of observing and judging about common and natural things is not lost. But the carnal man is a stranger to the principles, pleasures, and actings of the Divine life. The spiritual man only is the person to whom God gives the knowledge of his will. How little is the person to whom God gives the knowledge of his will? How little have any known of the mind of God by natural power! And the apostles were enabled by his Spirit to make known his intention. In the Holy Scriptures, the soul of Yeshua and the mind of God in Yeshua are entirely made known to us. It is the great privilege of Believers that they have the mind of Yeshua revealed to them by his Spirit. They experience his sanctifying power in their hearts and bring forth good fruits in their lives.
CLOSING PRAYER by Robert
Our Father in heaven hears our petitions which we place before His throne. You have shown us, Lord, there are troubled times ahead. We ask, Lord. take us and spiritually melt us down, fire us seven times to purify and reshape us, into the pure medal you have created us to be. Strengthen our minds to endure and hold wisdom to act through understanding and your will Father. Not out of malice, spite or worldliness. We pray, Lord, as you did for the disciples journeying during a stormy sea, causing fear among them, to calm our tumultive surroundings creating fear within us. Fill us with courage and determination. Remove any and all spirits of fear, doubt, and shortcomings within our walk. Sharpen the two-edged swords you have provided through the Holy Spirit, by filling us with your discerning words so we might speak wisely, through humility offering your grace, forgiveness, and gifts within your Salvation. This we pray in the name of Yeshua Amen and, Amen.
Remember, these messages are from a humble servant being obedient unto our Lord Yeshua as a Watchman. This I pray for all. ” Our Heavenly Father brings us to the river which bringeth forth fruit so we may partake of its sustenance and be filled spiritually with nurturing wisdom, and humble dedication in service to Yeshua. “Blessings to All.” As you go forward in peace.“
