The bottom line to this article goes as follows. Most will not want to hear or will ignore what they will read or hear, because in their minds they believe they are righteous and they are right. Nobody is saying you are not in salvation and walking with your faith.
What I am about to share was brought to me through the Holy Spirit. Most if not all of us know what is related in James 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
Coming to mind is the information I released in a video https://romboughrobert.com/2021/02/03/video-on-luxurious-sin-3/ about luxurious sin and it seems most appropriate here “ye may consume it upon your lusts.” So here we come to the nitty gritty of our walk. That being just how are we walking in and with our faith is it using coping skills or dealing with life’s bumps and curves.
It appears the following analogy provided by the Lord should speak loudly to this situation: we find ourselves standing with a basket full of eggs, a fire and a frying pan but lack the knowledge of how to feed ourselves and faced which path tofollow to gain that information.
Additionally revealed, we have faith and all the information from the Holy Spirit, then believing the faith we have is sufficient, we ignore or set aside the additional information because we have become unfamiliar of how to apply it to our situation, and it remains in limbo.
How many come to a realization what we have is directly from Yeshua (Jesus Christ). It seems Romans 1:22 applies here, perhaps more than we want to give it credit or recognition. Does this mean we don’t have salvation “NO” not at all, what it possibly could mean, we are acknowledging all the Lord has done in our lives, and are not appreciative enough and possibly not being as sincere as we can even though in our minds we believe we are.
Thus a possibility some are leaving part of what the Holy Spirit is providing for the Lord’s table, while supping daily with the Lord. Basic physics reveals a space or hole cannot exist. With that in mind, individuals will fill the emptiness with what is familiar and handy, however it usually is worldly not spiritual, thus we find many with one foot in the world and one foot in religiosity.
Luke 12:19-21 KJV
And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
Christianity does not meddle with politics; it obliges all to do justly, but worldly dominion is not founded in grace. It does not encourage expectations of worldly advantages by religion. Here is where having the Holy Spirits additional information becomes important on how to deal with this situation; so we don’t fall into having one foot in the world.
The rewards of Christ’s disciples are of another nature. Covetousness is a sin we need constantly to be warned against; for happiness and comfort do not depend on the wealth of this world.
The things of the world will not satisfy the desires of a soul. Here is a parable, which shows the folly of carnality and worldliness while they live, and their misery when they die.
The character drawn is exactly that of a prudent, worldly man, who has no grateful regard to the providence of God, nor any right thought of the uncertainty of human affairs, the worth of his soul, or the importance of eternity.
How many, even among professed Christians, point out similar characters as models for imitation, and proper persons to form connections with! We mistake if we think that thoughts are hid, and thoughts are free.
When he saw a great crop upon his ground, instead of thanking God for it, or rejoicing to be able to do more good, he afflicts himself. What shall I do now? The poorest beggar in the country could not have said a more anxious word.
The more men have, the more perplexity they have with it. It was folly for him to think of making no other use of his plenty, than to indulge the flesh and gratify the sensual appetites, without any thought of doing good to others.
The worldly are fools; and the day is coming when God will call them by their own name, and they will call themselves so. The death of such persons is miserable in itself, and terrible to them. Thy soul shall be required. He is loth to part with it; but God shall require it, shall require an account of it, require it as a guilty soul to be punished without delay.
It is the folly of most men, to mind and pursue that which is for the body and for time only, more than that for the soul and eternity. Here we will find an indication of a luxurious sin operating in this walk.
Clearly what we described earlier has just revealed the fate of those who ascribe to luxurious sins. You should recognize the importance of appreciating what God has blessed us with. In doing so, we understand our role with all of our possessions, it becomes clear, we are God’s Stewart’s of what he has blessed us with, plain and simple.
Through this new knowledge we recognize as a Stewart if all our worldly possessions and wealth are taken it would not affect our being or character due to the fact we should now understand it belonged to the Lord and were his Stewarts of it….
This becomes even more important as the days possibly are numbered before the government under their Global Restart Programs will be taking over all possessions, including all monetary accounts. Which would leave those walking with God completely dependent on him and the rest of the world under the control of the enemy.
In the last five or six months as a Watchman my warnings have been on living in faith with faith and through faith, explaining using and understanding faith needs to be exercised like a muscle to strengthen it and learn to connect and use the information the Holy Spirit has and is bringing to the lord’s table daily will guide us through the malady.
I was drawn to the book of Exodus where the question of how will God provide is revealed to the remnant, In Exodus it was the faith of Moses and his strong dedication which brought Manna as well the pillar of fire as protection. Today the Lord is bringing forward His provisions and protection to those who are walking and abiding in him on a spiritual level, being in and with their faith, displaying a strong dedication supported by an unwavering perseverance.
“THE FOLLOWING IS THE SOUNDING OF THE WATCHMAN’S TRUMPET!”
Our heavenly Father knows our hearts, and in doing so, he sends us warnings to awaken our soul to those areas we might choose to ignore. As believers, this condition can and does pose future consequences. When we look at Ezekiel 33:5, we see the consequence laid out by the Lord.
A Watchman’s business is to warn sinners of their misery and danger. He must warn the wicked to turn from their way, that they may live. If souls perish through his neglect of duty, he brings guilt upon himself. See what those must answer for, who make excuses for sin, flatter sinners, and encourage them to believe they shall have peace, though they go on.
How much wiser are men in their temporal than in their spiritual concerns! They set watchmen to guard their houses, and sentinels to warn of the enemies’ approach, but where the everlasting happiness or misery of the soul is at stake, they are offended if a Watchman obeys their master’s command, and give a faithful warning; they would rather perish, listening to smooth things.
Remember, there was a warning issued as a video sounding the Trumpet https://romboughrobert.com/2020/12/17/video-on-luxurious-sin/ identifying how there might be a sin within our walk, with some using Luxurious sins make rationalizations and justifications for appeasing their fleshly desires, ignoring the Watchman’s warning and bringing consequences into their walk.
God says to the righteous that he shall surely live. But many who have made profession have been ruined by proud confidence in themselves. Man trusting in his prideful righteousness, and presuming on his own sufficiency, will be brought to commit iniquity.
If those who have lived in a rebellious mind repent and forsake their sinful ways, they shall be forgiven and restored to the flock. Many amazing and blessed changes will be wrought by the power of Divine grace. When there is a settled separation between a man and sin, there shall no longer be a separation between him and God.
