Matthew 14:28-29 KJV
And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. [29] And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

In these two pictures we see how there has to be a choice to continue on your journey to follow Yeshua (Jesus Christ). In the verses it is related Peter asked if it is the Lord then bid him to step out of the boat and go to Him.

The challenge facing todays believers who have answered our Lord’s call to follow Him are facing several challenges to their faith, walk and personal relationship with the Father and His Son Yeshua.

Our journey through the Den of Wolves will not be an easy one it is going to present many different challenges in order to continue moving forward. As presented in these two pictures our journey has come to a challenge where we are facing using our faith in a challenging manner. As the Lord continues to beckon us forward in the spirit.

Like Peter, today’s believers should be asking, if it is you Lord, bid us come to you, if so then it becomes our duty to obey by using our faith to step out of our comfort zones and continue through faith, to (Spiritually) walk on water keeping our eyes on the Lord and continuing our journey .

The challenge, “can we spiritually hold to our faith,” and continue our journey or will we be stalled at the end of the firmament, where it is simple to proceed. The challenge for todays believers will they be strong enough to continue in faith.

The appearance their journey is ended, because the firmament has ended, is Yeshua’s trial of measuring the depth of your faith, and whether it will come into play. It is easy to profess when we are walking on solid ground. This challenge becomes a spiritual measuring stick of our faith, when, we’re faced by an ocean, before us, without a boat.

In this present situation believers should remember the Holy Spirit makes Christians firm in the faith of the gospel: the quickening of the Spirit is an earnest of everlasting life; and the comforts of the Spirit are an earnest of everlasting joy.

Our strength and ability are owing to faith; and our comfort and joy must flow from faith. The holy tempers and gracious fruits which attend faith, secure from delusion in so important a matter.

The corrupt nature is called a man; like the human body, it is of divers parts, supporting and strengthening one another. Sinful desires are deceitful lusts; they promise men happiness, but render them more miserable; and bring them to destruction, if not subdued and mortified.

These therefore must be put off, as an old garment, a filthy garment; they must be subdued and mortified. But it is not enough to shake off corrupt principles; we must have gracious ones.

So when faced with this scenario, an understanding that, By the new man, is meant the new nature, the new creature, directed by a new principle, even regenerating grace, enabling a man to lead a new life of righteousness and holiness. This is created, or brought forth by God’s almighty power.

Here is the promise of favour to those that overcome. The influences and comforts of the Spirit of Christ, come down from heaven into the soul, for its support. This is hidden from the rest of the world. Our new name is the name of adoption; when the Holy Spirit shows his own work in the believer’s soul, this new name and its real import are understood by him.

These verses declare important events, foretold by the prophets. These persons were not excused because they did what their leaders bade them. How vain will be the plea of many sinners at the great day! We followed our guides; we did as we saw others do!

God has given a rule to walk by, in his word; neither the example of the most, nor of the chief, must influence us contrary thereto: if we do as the most do, we must go where the most go, even into the burning lake.

Whose wisdom dwells in his heart, will be found more truly prudent than many who possess shining talents.

The bottom line, during our Lords purging of His church, His followers will be faced with a series of decisions revealing the depth and amount of trust placed in their faith, as they are faced with numerous challenges within their walk.

The portrayals within the displayed images are pictorial symbols of what lays ahead for the Ecclesia on a personal level. Each individual will be faced with a personal decision of how far they will go in their walk, whether advancing through faith or being stalled within, because they’re unable to trust in the strength of their faith or the guidance and teachings of the Holy Spirit.
