DECLARATION by Robert
Let me be clear, if you are here, looking to have your ears tickled, you’re in the wrong place. Unless of course, you are tired of living an empty existence, being placated, and seen as merchandise. But are looking to learn how to have a personal relationship with Yeshua, then I pray, you will find what you’re seeking, through the messages offered here.
To be built on Christ means, to believe in him; but in this many deceive themselves, they consider not what it is, nor the necessity of it, to partake of the salvation he has wrought.
Though the frame of the world were falling to pieces, that man who is built on this foundation may hear it without fear. He shall not be confounded. The believing soul makes haste to Christ, but it never finds cause to hasten from him.
All true Christians are a chosen generation; they make one family, a people distinct from the world: of another spirit, principle, and practice; which they could never be, if they were not chosen in Christ to be such, and sanctified by his Spirit.
Their first state is a state of gross darkness, but they are called out of darkness into a state of joy, pleasure, and prosperity; that they should show forth the praises of the Lord by their profession of his truth, and their good conduct.
How vast their obligations to Him who has made them his people, and has shown mercy to them! To be without this mercy is a woeful state, though a man have all worldly enjoyments. And there is nothing that so kindly works repentance, as right thoughts of the mercy and love of God.
Let us not dare to abuse and affront the free grace of God, if we mean to be saved by it; but let all who would be found among those who obtain mercy, walk as his people.
Evil-speaking is a sign of malice and guile in the heart; and hinders our profiting by the word of God. A new life needs suitable food. Infants desire milk, and make the best endeavours for it which they are able to do; such must be a Christian’s desires after the word of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ is very merciful to us miserable sinners; and he has a fulness of grace. But even the best of God’s servants, in this life, have only a taste of the consolations of God.
Unholy professors may have had the outward sign of a death unto sin, and a new birth unto righteousness, but they never passed from the family of Satan to that of God.
The corrupt nature, called the old man, because derived from our first father Adam, is crucified with Christ, in every true believer, by the grace derived from the cross.
It is weakened and in a dying state, though it yet struggles for life, and even for victory.
But the whole body of sin, whatever is not according to the holy law of God, all supposed hidden Luxurious sins must be done away, so that the believer may no more be the slave of sin, but live to God, and find happiness in his service.
Time for the tepid believers to commit, or be shutout. The door is slowly closing to more sin in the churches and is being exposed, warnings need to be heard and acted on.
Christians should be like children, void of guile and malice; yet they should not be unskilful as to the word of righteousness, but only as to the arts of mischief.
It is a proof that a people are forsaken of God, when he gives them up to the rule of those who teach them to worship in another language.
They can never be benefitted by such teaching. Yet thus the preachers did who delivered their instructions in an unknown tongue.
Would it not make Christianity ridiculous to a heathen, to hear the ministers pray or preach in a language which neither he nor the assembly understood?
But if those who minister, plainly interpret Scripture, or preach the great truths and rules of the gospel, a heathen or unlearned person might become a convert to Christianity.
His conscience might be touched, the secrets of his heart might be revealed to him, and so he might be brought to confess his guilt, and to own that God was present in the assembly.
Scripture truth, plainly and duly taught, has a wonderful power to awaken the conscience and touch the hearts of all non-believers, and believers.
We should not pray so much for the removal of affliction, as for wisdom to make a right use of it. And who does not want wisdom to guide him under trials, both in regulating his own spirit, and in managing his affairs?
My prayers go out to all who hear the Trumpeters Call I ask the Lord to bring discernment through the Holy Spirit, I pray that Yeshua will fill all with the spirit of courage knowledge and submission unto Him. This I pray in the name of Yeshua. Amen & Amen.
God be with you in your choices and commitments.
