Well, here it is the end of September, and another month has, pretty well, passed us by. Why am I writing this note? It seems many have heard my pleas for assistance to assist several needy widows in Kenya.
Again, I am going to appeal to those who are a part of my mailouts or shoutouts. It concerns me the response is thumbs up or hearts. Neither of which I can use to bring these women out of poverty.
The goal is to give them back some freedom within their lives to be able to live without being concerned about their next meal, something we take for granted. I listed their needs once before and it seems there was a silence online. I took that as perhaps you have children going back to school and money was tight, and someone 3000km away is not a high priority in our lives at that time understood.
Well, the month has almost past, and you must have had time to recover. My request is not for much, but whatever you can contribute. As it doesn’t take much to assist but it does take some.
As part of our initiative, we are attempting to purchase a 60-egg $170 incubator to start a small hatchery to provide ten chicks to a group of two widows, giving them a source of food and revenue in the future as people like eggs. Any amount you might be able to contribute will go a long way in assisting the NETWORK and those we are attempting to assist. You can send it via transfer to 7804970612 the account is set up to direct deposit or use Western Union send it to Robert James Rombough, and finally to PayPal direct it to @robertrombough it will be deposited in the appropriate account.
To remove any fears of you losing money to a swindle here is how I have organized the system. The NETWORK consists of vetted ordained pastors and Bishops throughout the forty-seven counties within Kenya. Bishop Evan Mukwa is the individual in control and overseeing the whole operation. The pastors are vetted as follows their church affiliations verified by the church’s accreditation. They are then verified as an active pastor or Bishop by an elder and or deacon of their church a character reference is sought. We then ask for their ordination certificate. There are several questions pertaining to their work within their community in respect to poverty. All these factors are to create a team of God-fearing men having integrity and compassion for the least of their flocks.
We take every effort we can to keep the costs down on the movement of funds to Kenya. We do not take an admin fee the only fees paid are transfer fees which are minimal. We suggest if you are sending US funds through PayPal click on the receiver slot and use the popup menus to change the currency to U.S. funds and there will be no exchange fees. I want to thank all who are willing to assist. God’s Blessings
