“Ok,” to the point this movement in Kenya is happening. It has become strong enough through support from here in Canada to now have the means to assist up to 35 to 50 widows a month with a flock of ten chicks.
We have received funds to purchase a Ram, for the NETWORK. It will be used for studding the female goats prior to delivery to the widows. Why is that important it provides the NETWORK a source of goats at a reasonable cost as well a revenue source for the widow.
I am sure there are many who can afford to support this mission to defeat poverty. But are not sure where this money would go. Well, it will go to gardens goats and chickens. What will it accomplish giving a woman who one week before was in despair, a new lease in life?
I keep asking for support, any amount helps. I am developing innovative ideas to make this mission efficient and effective, the incubator is one way, the Ram another, we will eventually be purchasing a second Ram to create a cycle of breeding the offspring without in breeding.
I have tossed around the idea of incubating ducks and geese as a revenue source for the widows start a small flock and market the offspring down the road. These all take funds, to initiate.
But you know what Covid has the minds of the world right now. Even to the point people can’t get help in the hospitals anymore, even lifesaving surgeries canceled. So why would a small mission helping change lives as a positive be important. People are dying and you’re asking for money to help someone 3000kms, away.
Well, it seems these widows might be in a comparable situation, fearing death who is staring them in the face, because there is no food for them or children and, “Oh yes,” this Covid19 thing as well.
Many are widows, because of a past Aids epidemic having just past through the country leaving many families (Grand Parents) caring for grandchildren as a result.
Listen in Canadian funds $65 buys a goat, or starts a garden, or supplies fertilized eggs to help women have a second start. In the opening photos check out the smiles. The young man in blue had to set aside his university education because funding has to go to caring for three of his siblings left under his care; as both parents passed, Father in an accident, mother shortly after in childbirth.
The garden is a new lease on life from this young man and his siblings. That would be what you’re supporting, and you know what 100 % less transfer fees goes to help, here’s an example a combination of contributions bought the 352-egg incubator displayed in the opening photos.
Those funds will be assisting widows for the life of the incubator which is 20 years. Estimated widows assisted in that time frame 11,900. Just short of 600 a year. Where else are you going to get the bang for your contribution.
Remember we don’t charge administration fees. This work is done by a NETWORK of Pastors and Bishops who represent one of the forty-seven different counties, doing as God fearing men, what Yeshua has called them to do; look after the least of their flocks, as a reminder to the world’s Assemblies they should be doing the same.
If you are inclined to assist by contributing, in Canada, send via etransfer 7804970612, email is firstname.lastname@example.org outside of Canada you can use Western Union by sending to Robert James Rombough, and finally through PayPal to @robertrombough. If you desire for it to be used for specific purpose please include your request with contribution. Thank you in advance and we will be posting further updates and appeals as the goal, God willing, is to help in the next year 600 widows out of poverty thus the motto.
My mission as a Watchman is that of a messenger bringing forward what God sees as trouble in the Assemblies and uses many Watchmen to bring forward His message as warnings
