1 Timothy 5:3,5 CSB
Support widows who are genuinely in need. The widow who is truly in need and left all alone has put her hope in God and continues night and day in her petitions and prayers.
Honour widows that are widows indeed, relieve them, and maintain them.
Here I desire to bring forward a truth overlooked by many who claim to be in the family of Yeshua
It is the duty of children if their parents are in need, and they can support them, to do it to the utmost of their power. Some will state, wait, are you telling me I should be contributing to helping widows. Yes, I am! It works two ways, on a personal level and through God’s Assemblies.
Widowhood is a desolate state but let widows trust in the Lord and continue in prayer. All who live in pleasure, are dead while they live, spiritually dead, dead in trespasses and sins.
Alas, what numbers there are of this description among nominal Christians, even to the latest period of life!
If any men or women do not maintain their poor sisters and brothers in spirit, they in effect deny the faith.
If they spend upon their lusts and pleasures, what should maintain their families, they have denied the faith, and are worse than infidels.
If professors of the gospel give way to any corrupt principle or conduct, they are worse than those who do not profess to believe the doctrines of grace.
In the world today, many do not discern they are the adopted children in Yeshua’s family. As a child in the family, would we not be responsible to assist the least of the family? Is it not the responsibility of the Assemblies to care for the least in the family?
So what would be the Victory be? As I draft this article the Holy Spirit revealed in me each testimony, each demonstration of God’s love, compassion and forgiveness first offered and received is the victory for three people.
First the newborn for gaining freedom, then the disciple, and most importantly our Lord Yeshua as He gained another relationship to build on.
What was another victory? In sharing God’s Love, and compassion what we send out is replaced tenfold in our hearts which increase when applied to our personal relationship with Yeshua.
Setting an example for all when God provides in your life keep your eye on the one goal which kept him, humble, obedient, and always grateful, with the desire to dwell in the house of God. As we recognized was the same desire in the homeless man. They both recognize it was being prepared for them no matter your walk a King or a homeless man beside the curb praying.
Remember, these messages are given by a humble servant obedient to our Lord Yeshua as a Watchman. I pray for all. ”Our Heavenly Father brings us to the river which bringeth forth fruit so we may partake of its sustenance and be filled spiritually with nurturing wisdom, and humble dedication in service to Yeshua. “Blessings to All.” As you go forward in peace, knowledge, and strength.
