“THE POWER OF ABIDING IN GOD!”

Psalms 91:6
[6] Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

Excellent security is promised to believers in the midst of danger. Wisdom shall keep them from being afraid without cause, and faith shall keep them from being unduly afraid. Whatever is done, our heavenly Father’s will is done; and we have no reason to fear.

While discussing how the mandates are being foisted on the communities throughout the world, one fact became apparent. These acts on the part of those governing are acts of evil. This is an especially crucial point to recognize and discern. What I am about to point out here will and does have a spiritual effect on you, your home, and your family.

When we analyze the scripture, it becomes essential to discern and understand what the Lord describes we are being protected from. Knowledge becomes the basis for the wise use of our faith and trust in what the Lord states. The importance of this knowledge is explained in Psalms 91:10
[10] There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

The initial finding in the early part of this article, that the mandates being put forward are based on evil, which makes them subject to the Lord’s protection according to Psalm 91:10. This evil will not stand against us on a spiritual level and will not manifest physically because of Yeshua’s protection.

We must, however, keep in mind there can be no lapse in our faith; there can be no doubt or concern. We cannot let our witnessing the carnage; those in the world will suffer, to influence us to take our eyes off Yeshua.

We must guard against complacency setting in or arrogance because we are protected being our thought process Psalms 91:5-6,8
[5] Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day.
[6] Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
[8] Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

The spiritual life is protected by Divine grace from the temptations of Satan, which are as the snares of the fowler, and from the contagion of sin, which is a noisome pestilence. Great security is promised to believers amid danger.

Wisdom shall keep us from being afraid without cause, and faith shall keep us from being unduly afraid. Whatever is done, our heavenly Father’s will is done; and we have no reason to fear. God’s people shall see, not only God’s promises fulfilled, but his threatening’s.

Many will cry this is a challenging thing to do. And they are right it is a challenging thing to do, but keep in mind all which is available in Psalms 91:9-12
[9] Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation.
[10] There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
[11] For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
[12] They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Whatever happens, nothing shall hurt the believer; though trouble and affliction befall, it shall come, not for his hurt, but for good, though for the present it be not joyous but grievous.

Those who rightly know God, will set their love upon him. They by prayer constantly call upon him. His promise is, that he will in due time deliver the believer out of trouble, and in the meantime be with him in trouble.

The Lord will manage all his worldly concerns, and preserve his life on earth, so long as it shall be good for him.

For encouragement in this, we must look unto Yeshua (Jesus). We shall live long enough; till we have done the work we were sent into this world for and are ready for heaven.

Do we hope that the praising of God will be the blessedness of our eternity? Surely then we ought to make it the business of our time.
