“GOD’S LIGHT ELIMINATES THE DARKNESS OF EVIL!”

Lighthouses, shine there light to guide ships from crashing into rocks. Their light penetrates especially in stormy situations. When I ponder this picture I see God’s light reflecting through us into the Den of Wolves, even during times of Satan’s greatest illusions set to screen his temptations.
I desire to share this verse to be pondered throughout your day. Keep in mind like a Captain who ignores a lighthouse those who ignore God’s warnings usually end up crashing into the rocks ahead.

Matthew 5:14 NKJV
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

As our light goes forward to illuminate the narrow path, it cuts into the darkness and draws those in the darkness of sin to recognize it is a way out of their enslavement.

Our light breaking the darkness shows, the way of the righteous is light; Christ is their Way, and he is the Light. His light reflecting through us will expose the way of sin is darkness.

Their journey with the wicked is dark, therefore dangerous; they will fall into sin, but know not how to avoid it. They will fall into trouble, but never seek to know why God contends with them, nor what the end has for them.

Our beam of light into the darkness with attentive hearing of the word of God, is a good sign of a work of grace begun in the heart, and a good means of carrying it on. There is in the word of God a proper remedy for all diseases of the soul.

So keep thy heart with all diligence. We must set a strict guard upon our souls; keep our hearts from doing hurt, and getting hurt. A good reason is given; because out of it are the issues of life. Above all, we should seek from the Lord Jesus that living water, the sanctifying Spirit, issuing forth unto everlasting life.

Thus they shall be enabled to put away a froward mouth and perverse lips; their eyes will be turned from beholding vanity, looking straight forward, and walking by the rule of God’s word, following in the steps of our Lord and Master. I pray Lord, forgive the past, and enable them to follow you more closely for the time to come, Amen and Amen.

We must be diligent in the use of all the means which lead to our salvation, persevering therein to the end. With great care, lest, with all our advantages, we should come short.

Our demonstration to work out our salvation, will focus our light on the truth it is God who worketh in you. This will encourage us and them to do the utmost, because the labour will not be in vain: it reveals we must continue to depend on the grace of God.

The working of God’s grace in us, is to quicken and engage our endeavours. God’s good-will to us, is the cause of his good work in us. Do your duty without murmurings. Do it, and do not find fault with it. Mind your work, and do not quarrel with it. By peaceableness; give no just occasion of offence. The children of God should differ from the sons of men. The more perverse others are, the more careful we should be to keep ourselves blameless and harmless. The doctrine and example of consistent believers will enlighten others, and direct their way to Christ and holiness, even as the light-house warns mariners to avoid rocks, and directs their course into the harbour. Let us try thus to shine. The gospel is the word of life, it makes known to us eternal life through Jesus Christ. Running, denotes earnestness and vigour, continual pressing forward; labouring, denotes constancy, and close application. It is the will of God that believers should be much in rejoicing; and those who are so happy as to have good ministers, have great reason to rejoice with them.

Remember these messages are from a humble servant being obedient unto our Lord Yeshua as a Watchman. This I pray for all. ” Our Heavenly Father brings us to the river which bringeth forth fruit so we may partake of its sustenance and be filled spiritually with nurturing wisdom, and humble dedication in service to Yeshua. “Blessings to All.”
