Some Two Thousand and Twenty-Two years past our Lord who conquered death and hell made this call to those who received those gifts to share them by walking in His footsteps. THIS CALL IS FOR THOSE WHO YESHUA IDENTIFIED WILL SEEK THE MEAT WHICH SATISFIES THE SOUL NOT THEIR BELLIES, IS WILLING TO ENDURE THE TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS UNTO CRUCIFIXION FOR THEIR BROTHERS AND SISTERS TO WALK IN SALVATION. TO FACE THE WRATH OF THE WOLVES TO SPARE THE SHEEP! LIKE OUR LORD; WILL STATE, “NO ONE TAKES MY LIFE; I GIVE IT FREELY!”
John 10:15,17 KJV
As the Father knoweth me, even so, know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
Christ is a good Shepherd; many who were not thieves, yet were careless in their duty, and by their neglect, the flock was much hurt. Bad principles are the root of bad practices.
The Lord Jesus knows whom he has chosen and is sure of them; they also know whom they have trusted and are sure of Him. See here the grace of Christ; since none could demand his life of him, he laid it down of himself for our redemption. He offered himself to be the Saviour; Lo, I come. You say you believe you will follow, are you then willing to say the same, or do you follow because you have a full belly and content spirit.
And the necessity of our case calling for it, he offered himself for the Sacrifice. He was both the offerer and the offering so his laying down his life was his offering up himself. From hence it is plain, that he died in the place and stead of men; to obtain their being set free from the punishment of sin, to obtain the pardon of their sin; and that his death should obtain that pardon. Our Lord laid not his life down for his doctrine, but for his sheep.
Many desire to follow in Yeshua’s footsteps without having regard; the footsteps when followed will lead those willingly following, to a fate similar of Yeshua’s Crucifixion. They will Come to know our Father in heaven has placed His lost sheep before them who are being threatened by the Wolves of society. The call now, is, if those following in Yeshua’s footsteps are willing to sacrifice for the flock or will be like a hireling and flee.
John 10:11-13 KJV
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is a hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is a hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
It takes an earnest heart to follow in Yeshua’s footsteps, as time reveals the true fate of those who continue.
Our Father in heaven has many times called us to assess our walk and our relationship with His Son Yeshua. It becomes clearer why, as we continue following our Lord’s footprints, the reality unfolds what destiny they lead to.
I pondered the miracle of feeding five thousand, knowing our Father in heaven has purpose in all of His teachings. The first clue was when the Lord identified in Capernaum why the throngs followed him and called for them to seek otherwise.
John 6:26-27 KJV
Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
This knowledge now available, reveals the ultimate ending for those continuing in Yeshua’s footsteps. In time a choice will be placed before us as it was before our Lord.
Though we tread our Lord’s footprints, it is with the desire to do the will of Yeshua and His Father in heaven who sent him; we find our purpose is to be, as were His disciples, who He sent among the Wolves, to share his love and teachings, to share that His light has entered the world.
Matthew 10:16 KJV
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
As we determined by following in the Lord’s footprints we do so as His disciples did entering into the Den of wolves. Knowing, the disciples of Christ are hated and persecuted as serpents, and their ruin is sought, and they need the serpent’s wisdom. Be ye harmless as doves.
Not only do nobody any hurt, but nobody bears any ill-will. Prudent care there must be, but not an anxious, perplexing thought; let this care be cast upon God.
The disciples of Christ must think more of how to do well, than how to speak well. In case of great peril, the disciples of Christ may go out of the way of danger, though they must not go out of the way of duty. No sinful, unlawful means may be used to escape; for then it is not a door of God’s opening.
The fear of man brings a snare, a perplexing snare, which disturbs our peace; an entangling snare, by which we are drawn into sin; and, therefore, it must be prayed against.
Tribulation, distress, and persecution cannot take away God’s love for you, or yours to him. Fear Him, who can destroy both soul and body in hell. You must deliver your message publicly, for all are deeply concerned in the doctrine of the gospel.
Matthew 10:22 KJV
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
The whole counsel of God must be made known, Acts 20:27. Christ shows them why they should be of good cheer. Their sufferings are witnessed against those who oppose his gospel. When God calls us to speak for him, we may depend on him to teach us what to say. A believing prospect of the end of our troubles, will be of significant use to support us under them. They may be borne to the end because the sufferers shall be borne up under them. The strength shall be according to the day. And it is great encouragement to those who are doing Christ’s work, that it is a work which shall certainly be done.
Those following Yeshua’s footprints who would in any office serve the Lord acceptably, and profitably to others, must do it with humility. Paul was a plain preacher, one that spoke his message to be understood. He was a powerful preacher; he preached the gospel as a testimony to them as if they received it; but as a testimony against them if they rejected it.
He was a profitable preacher; one that aimed to inform their judgments, and reform their hearts and lives. He was a painful preacher, very industrious in his work. He was a faithful preacher; he did not keep back reproofs, when necessary, nor keep back the preaching of the cross. He was truly a Christian, evangelical preacher; he did not preach notions or doubtful matters; nor affairs of state or the civil government, but he preached faith and repentance.
A better summary of these things, without which there is no salvation, cannot be given: even repentance towards God, and faith towards our Lord Jesus Christ, with their fruits and effects. Without them no sinner can escape, and with them none will come short of eternal life.
In conclusion for those following in our Lord’s footprints, as our Lord did, a choice must be made by those who choose to walk in Yashua’s footprints; if they as the Lord did, are prepared to lay their lives down for the sheep to find Yeshua’s gift of Salvation and freedom. Or as Yeshua pointed out in John 10:12,13 But he that is a hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and flees: and the wolf catches them, and scatters the sheep. The hireling flees, because he is a hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
This is the season to know what has come into the world and is falling unto the heads of all Gentile and Ecclesia bringing false teachings causing confusion and doubt into the hearts of the people.
This message is our Lord’s call to those willing to step forward and walk in the footsteps knowing the call at the end will be to choose the ultimate sacrifice to bring many to salvation.
LIKE OUR LORD STATE “NO ONE TAKES MY LIFE; I GIVE IT FREELY!”
Remember, a humble servant gives these messages obedient unto our Lord Yeshua as a Watchman.
This I pray for all. ”Our Heavenly Father brings us to the river which bringeth forth fruit so we may partake of its sustenance and be filled spiritually with nurturing wisdom, and humble dedication in service to Yeshua. “Blessings to All.” As you go forward in peace, knowledge, and strength.
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
