Matthew 24:24 KJV
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Though the great Shepherd passed through his sufferings without one false step, his followers often have been scattered by the small measure of sufferings allotted to them. Disease and various plagues have brought the fear of mortality into their midst drawing them to abandon their fear of God and take upon themselves the wisdom of the world.

How very apt we are to think well of ourselves and to trust our own hearts! It was ill done of Peter thus to answer his Master, and not with fear and trembling. Lord, give me grace to keep me from denying thee.

On our way to eternal happiness, we must expect to be assaulted and sifted by Satan. If he cannot destroy, he will try to disgrace or distress us. Nothing more certainly forebodes a fall, in a professed follower of Christ, than self-confidence, with disregard to warnings, and contempt of danger. Unless we watch and pray always, we may be drawn in the course of the day into those sins which we were in the morning most resolved against. If believers were left to themselves, they would fall; but they are kept by the power of God, and the prayer of Christ.

Our Lord gave notice of a very great change of circumstances now approaching. As Yeshua’s disciples today we must not expect that our friends will be kind to us as they have been.

It is common to be more eager to know about secret things, which belong to God only, than about things revealed, which belong to us and our children; to be more desirous to have our curiosity gratified, than our consciences directed.

Christ knows us better than we know ourselves, and has many ways of discovering those to themselves, whom he loves, and he will hide pride from them.

May we endeavour to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, to love one another with a pure heart fervently, and to walk humbly with our God.

We must now expect that our enemies will be more fierce than they have been, and we will need weapons. At the time, the apostles understood Christ to mean real weapons, but he was speaking of the weapons of spiritual warfare. The sword of the Spirit is the sword with which we, the disciples of Christ, must furnish ourselves today.

Matthew 26:33-34 KJV
Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended. [34] Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

Improper self-confidence, like that of Peter, is the first step to a fall. There is a proneness in all of us to be over-confident. But those fall soonest and foulest, who are the most confident in themselves. Those who are least safe, who think themselves most secure. Satan is active in leading such astray; they are most off their guard: God leaves them to themselves to humble them.

In our day and age many may find over time and through trials who they believed to be the Messiah is not and they have been led astray.

2 Thessalonians 2:13-17
[13] But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
[14] Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
[15] Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word or our epistle.
[16] Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
[17] Comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work.

I spoke of how we are to remember our Lord as he set out for us to do in His memory. We see in 2Thess 2:15 what we are to do instead of ceremonial feasts (Christmas and Easter) involving pagan customs in remembrance of our Lord.

Our Lord laid out the tradition to follow in Mark 14:22-24 and called to keep in. 2Thess 2:15.
[22]And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.
[23]And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.
[24]And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.

Corruption of doctrine and worship came in by degrees, and the usurping of power was gradual; thus the mystery of iniquity prevailed. Superstition and idolatry were advanced by pretended devotion, and bigotry and persecution were promoted by pretended zeal for God and his glory.

This mystery of iniquity was even then begun; while the apostles were yet living, persons pretended zeal for Christ, but really opposed him. The fall or ruin of the antichristian state is declared.

The pure word of God, with the Spirit of God, will discover this mystery of iniquity, and in due time it shall be destroyed by the brightness of Christ’s coming. Signs and wonders, visions and miracles, are pretended; but they are false signs to support false doctrines; and lying wonders, or only pretended miracles, to cheat the people; and the diabolical deceits with which the antichristian state has been supported, are notorious.

The persons are described who are his willing subjects. Their sin is this; They did not love the truth and therefore did not believe it; and they were pleased with false notions. God leaves them to themselves, then sin will follow of course, and spiritual judgments here, and eternal punishments hereafter. These prophecies have, in a great measure, come to pass, and confirm the truth of the Scriptures.

A Christian is always in danger, therefore, should ever be on the watch. He should be fixed in the faith of the gospel and never desert or give it up.

By this faith alone he will be able to keep his ground in an hour of temptation. Christians should be careful that charity not only reigns in their hearts, but shines in their lives. There is a great difference between Christian firmness and feverish warmth and transport.

Humility preserves peace and order in all Christian churches and societies; pride disturbs them. Where God gives grace to be humble, he will give wisdom, faith, and holiness. To be humble, and subject to our reconciled God, will bring greater comfort to the soul than the gratification of pride and ambition.

But it is to be in due time; not in thy fancied time, but God’s own wisely appointed time. Does he wait, and will you? What difficulties will not the firm belief of his wisdom, power, and goodness get over! Then be humble under his hand.

Cast “all you care;” personal cares, family cares, cares for the present, and cares for the future, for yourselves, for others, for the church, on God. These are burdensome, and often very sinful, when they arise from unbelief and distrust, when they torture and distract the mind, unfit us for duties, and hinder our delight in the service of God.

The remedy is, to cast our care upon God, and leave every event to his wise and gracious disposal. Firm belief that the Divine will and counsels are right, calms the spirit of a man. Truly the godly too often forget this, and fret themselves to no purpose. Refer all to God’s disposal.

I make no defence for exposing those caught in the delusion of a counterfeit christ. It is not too late to turn back Repent and bow your knee at Yahweh’s throne. That choice is yours I remind those who believe they are walking in righteousness and condemning my walk there is scripture Matthew 10:40 KJV
He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. to deal with this.

Then the Lord deals with those who believe they are acting righteously Luke 10:16 KJV
He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.

I know who brought me forward and placed the Holy Spirit upon me and brought this Mantel upon me, and Graced me with the Spirit of obedience and service unto our Father in heaven and His Son Yeshua. Woe unto you who have bowed your knee to Baal and now falsely accuse from your worldly position of righteousness because your lack of faith has been exposed. God will deal with you in His manner and time. You know who you are and will know the truth and harm you have done. I knock the dust from my feet and pray for God’s mercy to be upon you.

I rebuke you Satan in our Lord Yeshua’s name. And may Our Father in heaven be merciful. Amen and Amen
