I am sharing a message from Pastor Bob Woodward as it reveals a major question and answer. I see it supporting why we need to spend 24 hours with Yahweh and Yeshua, on the Sabbath!

Good morning from Branson Mo. The temperature is 64 and the forecast high is 75. … Looking at an add on Facebook for Meta and I noticed the budding horns on the head of the one Looking down on people. The thought came to me, what is a god? In the commandments given to Moses God said, you shall have no OTHER gods BEFORE ME. What then is a god? In ancient times a god would have been a unity, a personage above human as the Titans, the Nephalim of Genesis 6. In truth a god would be anything that we elevate beyond the normal and allow to become first in our lives. That could include virtually any of the things in life including that of the imagination, another individual, or even a bank account. This goes back to the answer Christ gave when ask; “What is the greatest commandment.” He answered, LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD ABOVE EVERY THING AND YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOU LOVE YOU, 💘 on these two hang ALL the law 💖 and prophets. A god than is anything placed ahead of Yeshua YaHovah. … Father heal our understanding and let Devine love consume us. Strengthen me Father that you are constantly in my thoughts with Thanksgiving and Praise. Make me aware of all others that would elevate itself to a god taking first place in my life. Remind me Father of who you are, and who I have become in Christ Jesus. Let your love and peace flow forth through me that others may know you. .. In the name of Jesus Yeshua I ASK,,,,, Amen…..

The following is my response. Amen and Amen. Your message is why I spend these 24hrs praising, and praying to Yeshua, meditating on my past week, and spending many hours pondering on this past week, of how my Father in heaven took me into His hands and shaped and molded me into the person he desires. I call that being fully committed to being obedient and devoted placing my life’s journey in God’s hands HALLELUJAH!

The sabbath is a sacred and Divine institution; a privilege and benefit, not a task and drudgery. God never designed it to be a burden to us, therefore we must not make it so to ourselves.

The sabbath was instituted for the good of mankind, as living in society, having many wants and troubles, preparing for a state of happiness or misery.

Man was not made for the sabbath, as if his keeping it could be of service to God, nor was he commanded to keep it outward observances to his real hurt. Every observance respecting it, is to be interpreted by the rule of mercy.

Let us examine ourselves, whether we really possess the inward and spiritual grace of a death unto sin, and a new birth unto righteousness,

Mark 4:19 KJV
And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

When I ponder Pastor Woodward’s words about other God’s and the wisdom of Mark 4:19, I people watch the Ecclesia wondering how many will rush home after the services attended to spend time watching the NFL or NHL or MLB or an event where they have an individual they consider beyond normal. As pointed out by Pastor Woodward In truth a god would be anything that we elevate beyond the normal and allow to become first in our lives.

I wonder how many believers recognize the true significance of the Sabbath. Agreed it is a break from the hustle and bustle of life, but not to be utilized to appease the fleshly lusts. Nor are we too rush before the altars of other God’s.

Someone suggested I was a spoiled sport to zealous even bordering on being legalistic. My answer to these individuals caught up in Coping with God. You can justify and rationalize yourself being in sin, but the price you pay is of your own doing. I prefer to be with God learning about Him, and

more so about me being in His presence.

May our Father in heaven and Yeshua bless you with their Grace Mercy Love Compassion and Peace.

Robert a humble servant obedient unto our Lord Yeshua and his Father Yahweh.
